Career Coaching and Mentorship

Through HCEF's Teen CEO program, teens/young adults have a paid work

experience in businesses across the Greater Pittsburgh region throughout the summer.

With the support of HCEF staff, our volunteers will act as mentors, supporting students through professional and workforce development. This includes committing to one 3-hour session per week over an 8-week period. In addition to helping with resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation, volunteers are encouraged to build meaningful relationships with students and guide them in developing and achieving their long-term goals.

We are seeking dedicated individuals who can commit to participating in our summer programming one day per week. All mentor volunteers must obtain PA Child Abuse, FBI fingerprinting, and PA State Criminal clearances, and attend a required in-office training prior to beginning their role.
