Are you a faith leader? Help people affected by disaster through spiritual care

Play a vital role in Red Cross response to disasters. Support those affected by disaster and those working on a disaster operation by helping them draw on resources, values, and faith in the midst of pain and crisis. From home fires to hurricanes, we need help providing spiritual care to those affected by disaster. The people we serve come from every part of our community, and we are hoping to have spiritual care volunteers from every faith.

There are some specific eligibility criteria for spiritual care volunteers.

Who can volunteer?

• Professional Chaplains
• Disaster Spiritual Care Leaders in organizations that are members of national Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster
• Endorsed faith leaders
