Interested in fundraising, philanthropy, or nonprofit development?
We're seeking volunteers to help our nonprofit identify funding opportunities and connect with potential supporters.
SmartResponse works to improve the effectiveness and accountability of disaster relief and humanitarian aid. Our platform helps donors find locally-led organizations responding to disasters around the world.
We're looking for volunteers to assist with:
- Researching foundations, corporate giving programs, and potential donors
- Identifying funding opportunities
- Building lists of prospective funders and contacts
- Preparing outreach emails and donor communications
- Scheduling meetings with foundations and corporate partners
- Tracking donor outreach and follow-up activities
- Maintaining fundraising databases and contact information
- Supporting fundraising campaigns and grant applications
Prior fundraising experience is welcome but not required.
We're especially interested in volunteers who are organized, comfortable conducting research, and interested in helping a nonprofit secure the resources needed to grow.
