You are invited to join Restore Hope as we hand out bagged lunches to the residents of the Harriet Tubman Women's Shelter in Washington DC. No experience necessary!
Volunteers will have the opportunity to help hand out snack bags as well as spend some time socializing with the shelter residents. We are a faith-based organization so we encourage volunteers to pray with the ladies if they feel comfortable.
This event will take place outdoors so please plan to dress accordingly.

Parking/Transportation: The Stadium-Armory Metro stop is nearby along with several bus routes. If you choose to drive, you can park along the sidewalk next to the shelter or there is street parking available in the surrounding neighborhood. Please do not park in the parking lot next to the shelter - it is actually a government-run lot for the jail and other programs and you may be ticketed/towed.
Directions: GPS can sometimes be misleading to this location. Click here to view directions to get to the shelter from the main roadway (you can enter 350 19th St SE in GPS and follow these directions from there).
