SUPPORT CHILDREN'S LEARNING PROGRAM

Spend your time at Shine Preparatory School, helping teachers with class work, organizing coaching classes (after school and weekend classes), organizing play, sports and special programs, assessment of children needs, helping with meal preparation and serving, cleaning utensils after meals, helping children with special needs, and more to be determined when on-site.

You will also help in raising global awareness about - and promoting our educational projects, as well as engage in fundraisers in support of the work.

ELIGIBILITY AND BASIC REQUIREMENTS

There is NO specific requirement for qualification. However, applicants are required to fulfill and meet the following;-

1. Be 16 years or older.
2. Speak and read basic English.
3. Secure funding for travels and accommodations. Volunteers are responsible for the following costs:-

+ Passport and Visa fees

+ All necessary vaccinations

+ Airfare to and from Uganda

+ Room and board at the local Guesthouse

+ Transportation while in Uganda (including the trip from Kampala to PARC-Uganda and back)

+ At least one night hotel stay in Kampala

VOLUNTEER DURATION:

Minimum time for placement and stay is 1 weeks, but staying longer is most prefered for better impact
