ACTIVITY PLANNING - Activity Inpatient Therapy Recreational Volunteer  

The Inpatient Therapy Recreational volunteer must be outgoing, a self-starter, and someone who loves conversation and enjoys planning activities. They will also assist by following a program established by therapists to provide to our patients in the evening and on the weekend. This program is to provide opportunity for entertainment to our inpatient rehabilitation clients.

The volunteer will come up with ideas and implement them to entertain the patients on the weekend. This can be a movie night, bingo, trivia games, art classes, or musical entertainment.Training will be provided until the new volunteer is completely comfortable on their own. • Shifts can be flexible usually 3 to 4 hours long depending on needs and volunteer availability. This position is evening and weekends: 13:00 to 19:00 EST
