Friendly Visitor Program - Volunteer Opportunity

Our Friendly Visitor Program pairs volunteers in teams of two to support participants who benefit from extra social interaction. Volunteers visit participants in their homes and engage in enjoyable activities such as playing games, sharing stories, and having meaningful conversations. These visits typically last between one to two hours and are scheduled based on availability and participant needs. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, as travel to participants’ residences is required. This is a wonderful opportunity to build relationships, reduce isolation, and bring joy to someone’s day-all while making a positive impact in your community.
