OYC Miami is seeking volunteers to support students at Miami Edison Senior High School through upcoming mock interview sessions.
Volunteers will help students practice professional communication, interview skills, confidence, and workplace readiness in a supportive setting. This is a great opportunity for professionals, educators, recruiters, hiring managers, HR staff, and community members who enjoy helping young people prepare for future career opportunities.
Dates & Volunteer Needs:
- November 4 — 3 volunteers needed
- November 6 — 3 volunteers needed
- November 12 — 3 volunteers needed
- December 4 — 4 volunteers needed for the final interview session

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Conduct or support mock interviews with students
- Ask students common interview questions
- Provide constructive and encouraging feedback
- Help students strengthen communication, confidence, and professionalism
- Support students as they prepare for future employment opportunities
Ideal Volunteer:
- Comfortable speaking with high school students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, encouraging, and dependable
- Experience in HR, recruiting, management, education, workforce development, or interviewing is helpful but not required
School Guest Approval:
Miami Edison requires guest clearance for all volunteers. Volunteers will be asked to provide:

- Email address
- Phone number
OYC Miami will submit this information to the school for approval before participation.
