Lobby Host - Emergency Department

Our Emergency Department Lobby Hosts greet patients, visitors and staff in a positive and professional manner. They support the patients visit by offering warm blankets, emesis bags, masks and other comforts as approved by a physician or triage nurse.

I addition to direct patient interaction, our Emergency Department Lobby Hosts wipe down wheelchairs, chairs, table, refill sanitation stations and help keep the waiting area organized

Please note: Mayo Clinic has requirements for volunteering. Below is a list of some of these requirements.

• Completion of background checks
• Tuberculosis testing
• Proof of other immunizations (This will vary by state and volunteer role)

If you choose to not complete these requirements you will not be able serve as a volunteer.
