Title: Hybrid Volunteer People Operations Manager | Build the HR Foundation for a Youth Nonprofit (Dallas, TX)
Organization: Pretty With Purpose, Inc.
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Short summary: Keep a youth-focused nonprofit’s people practices organized, from recruiting and onboarding to records and training. About 10-15 hours per week, flexible and deliverable-focused.

Pretty With Purpose, Inc. is a youth-focused nonprofit empowering young women through mentorship, leadership development, college and career readiness, health and wellness, and workforce development. Our volunteers and staff are how this mission happens, and this role makes sure they are recruited, welcomed, and supported well.
What you will do
- Coordinate recruiting: postings, applicant communications, interview scheduling, and candidate tracking
- Run onboarding and offboarding checklists, orientation, role agreements, and training tracking
- Keep personnel records, rosters, and acknowledgments accurate and securely organized
- Maintain performance-review calendars, goal forms, and training completion records
- Serve as the first point of contact for routine people-process questions
- Report monthly on vacancies, applicant pipeline, onboarding status, and training
- Help flag potential compliance concerns to the HR Director and support federal labor law recordkeeping
Who you are
- Experienced in HR administration, recruiting coordination, or people operations
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a strong writer who follows through
- Trusted with confidential information
- Comfortable with shared drives, spreadsheets, and forms
- Preferred, not required: nonprofit or volunteer-led organization experience, and experience building HR templates, trackers, and procedures

Commitment
Ongoing volunteer role, reviewed periodically. About 10-15 hours per week, flexible and deliverable-focused. Remote planning and reporting, with in-person attendance at Dallas-area events and meetings. Reports to the HR Director.
