Spread Holiday Cheer: Volunteer at the St. Margaret's Center Christmas Program

Do you want to spread Christmas cheer and make a meaningful impact this holiday season? Join St. Margaret’s Center as a volunteer for our beloved 37th Annual Christmas Program on the Day of the Event December 20 or on a prep day before (December 18/19). This program is one of the largest and most heartwarming holiday events in the LAX area. This cherished celebration brings joy, dignity, and hope to 500 low-income families and more than 1,200 children from communities including Inglewood, Hawthorne, Lennox, Lawndale, and beyond.

Each year, Lennox Middle School is transformed into a festive Winter Wonderland, complete with gifts, games, Santa visits, entertainment, and a warm community atmosphere. Over 400 volunteers make this magical day possible—and we need you to help bring it to life.

Volunteer Roles Needed

We have a wide variety of roles—perfect for groups, families, students, corporate teams, or anyone looking to give back. Volunteers may help with:

• Toy distribution
• Family check-in and hospitality
• Arts and crafts stations
• Games and children’s activity areas
• Santa’s workshop & gift selection support
• Food service and lunch distribution
• Line management and crowd flow
• Set-up or clean-up crews
• General event assistance

No special skills are required—just a warm heart, a willingness to help, and holiday spirit!

Requirements

• Minimum age: 16+ (Ages 16/17 must register for "Children's Buddy Role"
• Must register online prior to the event
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist in a fast-paced holiday environment
• Volunteers will select a shift when registering (morning, afternoon, or full-day options)
