A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)/Guardian ad Litem (GAL) volunteer is appointed by a judge to represent the best interests of an abused or neglected child in court.
The next in-person CASA/GAL volunteer training class will begin on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. You will be required to attend all of the dates listed below:
Wednesday, 10/01/25, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 10/8/25, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 10/15/25, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 10/22/25, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 10/29/25, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 11/05/25, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Friday, 11/07/25, 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Swearing-In Ceremony)
The application deadline is Monday, September 8, 2025. We encourage you to apply now at CASAkids.net because the extensive background checks are time-consuming.
Additionally, once you have been interviewed and accepted into the class, you will need time to observe the required court proceedings before the first training day. All pre-training dates are required.
