Member Services - Help Desk

Senior Friendship Centers is seeking friendly, outgoing volunteers who enjoy engaging with older adults and providing excellent customer service. This role is perfect for individuals who are comfortable with basic computer technology and enjoy helping others.

In this role, volunteers will:

• • Welcome and assist members as they arrive for activities
  • Help sign members in for programs using platforms such as Eventbrite
  • Share information about activities, programs, and corporate-sponsored events
  • Provide light assistance with personal devices (phones, tablets, etc.)
  • Create a warm, inclusive environment where members feel supported and connected

This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference while building relationships with our members and supporting a vibrant activity center community.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday9:00am – 12:00pm

Requirements:

Able to commit

Have an outgoing personality and ability to engage with seniors.

Be reliable and pay attention to detail.

Complete required training (provided) to ensure safety of meal participants.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with seniors.

Ability to interact professionally with all staff, clients, volunteers, and community partners.

Friendly, flexible, able to handle challenges, and able to work with limited supervision.

Must possess cultural awareness and sensitivity for all individuals and groups.
