About Us:
Delta Rising Foundation works at the intersection of sustainability, science, and systems change. We are looking for a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to grow our digital presence and engage online communities around our work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule posts across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and Facebook.
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with organizational campaigns and goals.
- Collaborate with the team to create posts that reflect our mission, values, and impact.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and encourage conversation.
- Monitor analytics to track engagement and inform strategy.
Requirements:
- Experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands.
- Strong understanding of how to create mission-driven content.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later.
- Experience with analytics and dovetailing social media and analytics
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to create simple visual content using Canva or similar tools.
- Experience with social media strategy or performance tracking.
- Interest in sustainability, science, or nonprofit work.
