    Descripción

Toronto Biosphere Eco-City (TBEC) is seeking volunteers for a team to continue development of a

Youth Climate Action (YCA) project. In this initiative, youth view summaries of sustainability

projects on the TBEC website at https://toronto.bioecocity.org/. Following the steps in a short

manual, they then submit ideas on how those projects provide climate benefits. Team volunteers

consolidate youth input in a report on the TBEC website. The University of Toronto has distributed

project information to its environmental studies students. The YCA project should also soon begin in

    two high schools.

The TBEC YCA team currently has four members including a team leader and will soon have a

deputy leader. Members would have the opportunity to conduct short workshops at high schools, and

also to write reports summarizing input from university and high school students.
