Give comfort to those at the end of life by becoming a hospice volunteer. You can help make our patients day just by being a friendly face and a kind presence!
Hospice care goes beyond medical needs to address the emotional and social well-being of our patients. Our volunteers help us meet these needs by visiting patients to provide companionship. Read someone a book or the news, play a game, share stories, take someone outside or just be present with those who are no longer able to engage. You can make a difference!
Would you sit bedside by our patients to help them make the transition from this life? We believe that no one should have to die alone. Our volunteers say that it is a true privilege to visit their patients.
We serve patients throughout Montgomery county; we need more visitors who could travel to Vandalia, Englewood, Huber Heights, Tipp City and northern Dayton. Would you be willing to join our team? We are flexible to work with your schedule and availability. Training is provided, we will make sure you are comfortable and confident in your volunteer work.
