Volunteer for Holiday Express as Santa Elves, Bell Ringers and Hot Cocoa Servers, Oh My!

The Oregon Rail Heritage Center's Holiday Express is rolling in soon! Starting the day after Thanksgiving, November 28 and running through December 28, this magical train will delight families every weekend with festive cheer and over 100 joyful trips. We are looking for volunteer Santa's Helper Elves, Bell Ringers and Hot Cocoa and Cookie Servers.

Volunteer Requirements:

• Ages 14 and up
• Friendly and festive personality
• Wear supplied elf hats and jackets and can wear own holiday-themed attire
• Must have a parent or guardian available for transportation to/from ORHC

Santa's Helper Elves & Bell Ringers

• Announce Santa’s arrival with flair
• Assist Santa greeting guests
• Pass out candy canes
• Comfortable singing with passengers
• Wear holiday-themed attire

Hot Cocoa and Cookie Sales

• Prepare and serve hot cocoa, coffee, and cookies
• Keep the serving area clean, organized and stocked
• Operate cash register and provide accurate change with a smile
• Enjoy interacting with guest and maintain a friendly and efficient pace
