Caring Call volunteers make brief weekly contact with patients’ primary caregivers offering additional support and communication with the hospice team.
- Calls are scripted with 3-5 key questions.
- Calls are made midday once a week from your own home.
- Weekly commitment varies between 30 minutes, and two hours based upon your availability.
We hear from caregivers that it is reassuring to know support is there if they need it. Caring Calls are a reminder that they are not alone, and help is just a phone call away.
