Community Tax Program Volunteer

Family Promise Essex is partnering with the United Way to serve as a tax drop-off location—helping ensure that low-income community members have access to free, reliable tax preparation services.

We are seeking 3–4 volunteers to support this program.

Please note that you will not be filing taxes, but rather helping clients confirm they have all the necessary paperwork based on their individual situations. Comprehensive training will be provided by the United Way.

Commitment:

February through April (tax season)

About one shift per week, lasting 3–4 hours
