About The Oazi Project
The Oazi Project organizes volunteer trainings on responsible volunteering, while running a traineeship program where Tanzanian women design and lead these experiences. By building on local perspectives, the trainings help international volunteers better understand the context they enter, question their assumptions, and engage more thoughtfully. In this way, Oazi supports respectful collaboration, genuine connection, and more meaningful contributions between volunteers and communities.
What will you actually do?
Do you want to help us craft narratives that are clear, respectful, and values-aligned? We are looking for someone to help us share the Oazi story through the lens of ethical communication.

- Training Promotion: Help promote our volunteer trainings through flyer distribution, social media support, sharing information with volunteers and direct communication with potential participants.
- Storytelling & Blogging: Turn workshop moments, reflections, and local stories into social media posts, short videos, and content people actually connect with.
- Strategy & Guidelines: Help develop ethical communication guidelines to ensure our brand voice and visual style remain consistent across all platforms.
- Support & Outreach: Create presentations, newsletters, and practical communication materials that help the team work smoothly and stay organized.
