Programmer / Webmaster

At Giving Forward, we create programs and technology platforms which: generate social impact through marketing, advertising, publishing, events or commerce. Revenue is derived largely from monetization of the time and attention of consumers engaged in great, fun and informative content. We are looking for a programmer to help us develop our site and tools further.

• Responsibilities:
  • Wordpress theme modifications and other and custom coding (LAMP/PHP/CSS)
  • Custom front and back end web-based coding including use of Go(lang), Python, Redis, and various database types.
  • App development
  • Browser plugin development
• Qualifications: We love coders that have a passion for code and do so in their spare time. Good foundation in CS is great, but some of the best coders we've met have been self-taught or had to learn coding as part of their other areas of interest, for example, Physics, Math or other sciences. Some just learned to code by themselves. Be able to illustrate your passion for building things in code.
