Cat Caretaker

Sweet adoptable cats and kittens require care in our adoption centers at Palatine Petco and Niles Petsmart daily. We need caring, reliable volunteers to REGULARLY COMMIT to one shift a week or 2 shifts per month FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS. Individuals or teams of 2 adults may work together. Responsibilities on each shift:

• providing fresh water and food
• scooping litter boxes
• brushing bedding
• sanitizing and straightening up enclosures
• socializing / playing / cuddling with the precious cats and kittens

This can be done in the morning, afternoon or evening on your assigned day to accommodate your schedule. We provide complete training over several sessions. To volunteer, text: 847-302-6410

WE CANNOT ACCEPT THOSE LOOKING TO FULFILL COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS or who are looking for a one-time opportunity to volunteer. This position requires ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST BE OVER 18 years of age.

You must have a car and live or work within 5 miles of the store.
