Adoption Event Supervisor

• Senior Volunteer Our Senior Volunteer Team oversee our weekend adoption events. They are trained to help process adoptions as well as oversee our weekend volunteer support team. Our Senior Volunteers commit to at least one Saturday or Sunday each month from 1130a-3p. During this time, the Adoption Center is cleaned - including the cat cages and floors. The Senior Volunteer is responsible for completing the daily checklist and ensuring the tasks that were not done Saturday are completed on Sunday. In addition, the Senior Volunteer emails the the Senior and Foster Team with details of their day including tasks completed and adoptions. But most importantly, the weekend days are when the cats and kittens get a lot of play time and socialization. Time out of their cages to be held and loved on is priority. While being a Senior Volunteer is a big job - it’s very rewarding. Especially when you complete an adoption and see a kitty head off to their loving forever home.
