High School Student's "Young Adults" Community Service Opportunities

Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Detroiters.

We are trying to bring stabilization, revitalization and sustainability to a 9-block area on the Northeast Side of Detroit. Currently, UDC is actively engaged in hosting inner-city Detroit Neighborhood Clean-up Blitzes and welcome participation from "groups of energetic young high school students" from across the Metropolitan Detroit Area to aid in our efforts.

We are encouraging groups of young adults to make a party out of volunteering by inviting family, friends and other classmates to join with you for a couple of hours of community service. Have fun while giving back and making a difference in the life of others while satisfying requirements for completion of community service hours for school. There is a lot that needs to be done to improve our targeted area and we could utilize the willingness of many helping hands on a given day of your choosing for approx. 4 hours.
