Hours per Week: Up to 20 hours/week (Flexible schedule)

Rcoz is a non-profit dedicated to mental health awareness, early intervention, youth programs, and community dialogue, with a strong focus on serving South Asian communities and youth.

Role Summary:

Rcoz is seeking an experienced SEO & GEO Specialist to grow our visibility across both traditional search engines and AI-powered search tools. In this role, you will help ensure our stories, programs, and resources are discoverable, whether someone finds us through Google or through an AI assistant like ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for improving search engine rankings.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, and internal linking for SEO performance.
• Structure content, transcripts, and metadata so it's easily indexed and cited by AI search tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews).
• Monitor and analyze SEO and AI-search performance, making data-driven optimizations.
• Provide regular reports on organic search and AI-visibility results, with recommendations.
• Stay current with SEO and GEO trends to continually improve Rcoz's online presence.
• Collaborate with the team to align SEO/GEO strategy with Rcoz's mission and programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Strong experience with SEO (keyword research, on-page optimization, analytics).
• Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) or AI search visibility practices.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and apply insights.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and within a collaborative team.
• Must be located in the United States.
• References required prior to onboarding.

• Hybrid availability for occasional in-person meetings or events in the Bay Area.
