Sourcewise Senior Tech Expo

Event Details:

Our Digital Link program is planning its 2nd Annual Senior Tech Expo, which will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Roosevelt Community Center. This public event will showcase the impact of the Sourcewise Tech Hub & Digital Access Program. Digital Access is one of the programs within Digital Link, which supports older adults and caregivers in reducing loneliness and improving digital confidence through technology support, group classes, and one-on-one appointments.

The Senior Tech Expo will feature client-led technology projects, success stories, and interactive stations such as: AI for Everyday Life, “Tech Hub” lounge, & Card Making with Canva. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with program participants, their families, community center staff, fellow community members, and public attendees. Last year, the event attracted over 100 guests, and we are anticipating more attendees this year.

Volunteers Responsibilities:

1. Setting up and checking in guests on iPads at the entrance
2. Directing flow to sections: clients, guests, vendors
3. General event support and support with program end, tear down etc.

Volunteer Shifts:

1. Morning shift (8:30 am to 11:30 am)
2. Afternoon shift (11:00 am to 1:30 pm)
3. All day shift (8:30 am to 1:30 pm)
