MTRC Therapeutic Riding Sidewalkers & Horse Leaders

Miracles Therapeutic Riding Center serves people with special needs of all ages, disabilities, and conditions in the greater Denver and Boulder area using equine therapy. Our program promotes physical, emotional, cognitive and social well-being. We build strength, improve balance and coordination, achieve higher levels of concentration, confidence and self-esteem. MTRC is looking for volunteers to assist with therapeutic riding sessions. No horse or therapy experience needed, although welcomed :) We have a volunteer shadow program that will help you learn about the horses and how to assist the participants in class. Current classes are held Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Times vary but help is needed 12p - 8p during the week and 9a-12p on the weekends. Volunteer shifts are one hours blocks.
