About Worthy Voices
Worthy Voices is a Black-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2025 to address family violence, injustice, and generational trauma through culturally grounded intervention, prevention, and healing services. We believe healing and accountability are possible when programs are trauma-informed, community-rooted, and responsive to the lived experiences of those most impacted by violence and systemic inequities.
Worthy Voices is accredited by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Community Justice Assistance Division (TDCJ-CJAD) and is an approved RFQ provider with Travis County Community Supervision and Corrections Departments. We currently provide services across Travis County and Bell/Coryell Counties, working in partnership with justice systems and community organizations to strengthen individual accountability, family safety, and community well-being.
Our work is grounded in the belief that people can change harmful behaviors, interrupt cycles of violence, and build healthier relationships—when given the right support, structure, and opportunity.
About the Voices of Change Program
Voices of Change, launched in January 2026, is Worthy Voices’ Battering Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP). The program offers weekly psycho-educational group sessions for court-referred and voluntary participants, with services designed to promote accountability, reduce abusive behaviors, and support long-term behavior change.
In addition to BIPP services, Worthy Voices is expanding its community education and prevention work through healing circles, workshops, and presentations for justice providers, faith leaders, and community partners. We are also developing crisis-response connections to help link survivors and families to housing, mental health, and substance misuse resources.
