We are looking for a HR Generalist or Recruiter to join our team and be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring volunteers to support our mission. This role involves full-cycle recruiting, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great volunteers.
Although predominately a remote role, volunteer must be able to attend c. 4 per year in-person recruitment events (Montgomery Country, Bucks County and Philadelphia, PA).
Duties:
- Recruitment of volunteers, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Maintain accurate and organized records of candidates' application status
- Plan and execute recruitment activities, such as in-person recruitment events
- Provide reports and updates to the HR Team Lead
- Assist with continuous improvement in our HR processes, templates, etc.
- Support other HR projects, e.g. engagement activities
Experience:
- Previous experience in Human Resources / Recruitment / Talent Acquisition
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
