WeAFAR Global Justice is a newly formed, IRS-approved nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of financial fraud and scams, promoting systemic reform, and implementing practical prevention initiatives to reduce harm before it occurs. We are seeking passionate volunteers to join our Board of Directors in a variety of roles.
Roles Include:
- Vice Chair / Deputy Director (Operations & Governance): Support daily operations and governance (4-6 hrs/month).
- Director of Survivor Outreach & Community Engagement: Build peer support networks and awareness campaigns (4-6 hrs/month).
- Director of Global Networks & Diaspora Engagement: Connect internationally with survivors and NGOs (4-6 hrs/month).
- Director of Education & Outreach: Lead fraud-prevention education and partnerships (6-10 hrs/month).
- Director of Legal Affairs & Advocacy: Advocate for victims and systemic reform (8-10 hrs/month).
- Director of Technology & Digital Tools: Support tech solutions and AI tools for outreach (2-4 hrs/month).
- Director of Partnerships & Strategic Alliances: Build coalitions and organizational partnerships (3-5 hrs/month).
- Director of Grants & Resource Development: Identify funding opportunities and assist with proposals (2-4 hrs/month).
- Advisory Board Roles (Non-Voting): Provide strategic guidance, storytelling, innovation, and policy support (flexible hours).

Time Commitment: Varies by role; 2-12 hours per month.
