Hospice Friendly Visitor (Monroeville, Murrysville, Irwin, Jeannette, Greensburg, Harrison City)

Allegheny Health Network Healthcare@Home is looking for caring and compassionate adults who are comfortable visiting with patients who have been given a terminal diagnosis. Friendly visits help patients who live in a nursing home who otherwise may not get any visits at all. We are required to follow all state and federal regulations including a background check, a drug screen and a TB test (we pay for all of this). We also follow the CDC guidelines regarding PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and infectious diseases and we will provide all the necessary PPE that you will need. We also provide a thorough training so that you will feel comfortable and confident in your role as a volunteer with us.
