APTW Celebrity Chef Cook Off Charity Event

Dear Positive Thinking Volunteer!

Please come and be a part of our positivity celebration! Be prepared to have a great time; we truly need your positive energy. No experience is necessary, and we are happy to provide training if requested. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet inspiring celebrities, vendors, guests, and—of course—celebrity chefs. Hopefully, you will leave having made lasting, positive connections.

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
• Time: 6:00 PM (Winners announced at 8:00 PM)

Please Note: The event is tentatively scheduled, and we ask all volunteers to arrive early. You will receive a follow-up confirmation email with your exact assigned duties and arrival time.

We are asking for volunteers to help with our community outreach and the Celebrity Chef Cook Off Charity FUNdraiser in the following ways:

General Event Roles:

• Event Set-Up & Break Down: Helping before, during, and after the charity event.
• Auction Assistance: Helping with the silent and live auctions.
• Vendor/Auction Tables: Staffing and sitting at vendor or silent auction tables.
• Runners: Going to the store, retrieving items from cars, picking up celebrities from the airport/hotel, etc.
• Greeting & Directing: Directing guests, celebrities, and vendors. This includes loading and unloading their items from their cars to inside the venue.
• Speaker & Celebrity Assistance: Individually assisting celebrities and/or professional speakers and ensuring their needs are met before, during, and after the event.
• Miscellaneous Duties: Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Extra Positive Duties:

• We are also asking volunteers to distribute and/or share flyers via social media, or post them on work, school, and community bulletin boards before the charity event.
• Origami Folding: Folding free paper samples that are given away. This is a great sit-down job that can even be done at home!
