Role Overview

The Compliance Assistant will support FYAR in maintaining organizational compliance with nonprofit regulations, internal policies, and grant requirements. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who wants hands-on experience in nonprofit governance, compliance, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and maintaining compliance documents (policies, reports, filings)
• Support tracking of grant compliance requirements and deadlines
• Help review internal procedures for alignment with nonprofit best practices
• Assist with basic data collection and documentation for audits or reviews
• Support the Compliance Coordinator with administrative and follow-up tasks

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of nonprofit operations or willingness to learn
• Comfortable using Google Workspace and basic office tools
• Interest in nonprofit governance, compliance, or administration
• Prior compliance or administrative experience is a plus but not required
