Descripción
Patient Visitor Volunteers:
- Provide friendly visits to hospice patients' in their homes or long-term healthcare facilities, to provide companionship and support both the patient and their families.
- Patient volunteers provide companionship, socialization, light house cleaning, allowing caregivers to have a break in the home (a lot of our patients’ love ones do not get a break because of being the sole caregiver), jokes, laughter, emotional support, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Driver's License Needed
- Free Background Check
- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- Free Drug Screen
- Free 2 step TB Test
Volunteering means more than one can imagine to our patients and I will love to assist future volunteers in making a difference our patients' lives.
