The Network Theory Applied Research Institute, Inc. is a Kentucky 501.(c)(3) formed March 17, 2023 with a mission to improve the internet. In October 2025, NTARI published Addressing Democratic Information Velocity, which argued the postal speed of representative democracy had become too slow to establish equilibrium described by Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson in The Narrow Corridor: States, Societies and the Fate of Liberty. This was followed by the empirical study of 25 national government's use of telecommunications in government in The Material Culture of Democratic Deliberation. By 2026, the Institute developed an architectural theory for building software for the prosumption of digitally coordinated goods and services with no other intermediary than the publicly maintained software itself-- Janus Facing Architecture.
