About The Relief Route

The Relief Route is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing fresh meals, essential supplies, and direct assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, and financial hardship.

We are looking for a dependable and compassionate Social Media Volunteer to help us share our mission, highlight our community outreach, and raise awareness about homelessness and food insecurity across the United States.

Volunteer Responsibilities

As a Social Media Volunteer, you will help us share our work by posting videos and content that we provide to our social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Posting Outreach Videos: Share videos of our team preparing and distributing meals to individuals experiencing homelessness.
• Highlighting Our Food Pantries: Post content showcasing our food pantry efforts, food distributions, and other initiatives that help individuals and families access food.
• Promoting Homelessness Awareness: Share educational videos and clips that shed light on homelessness in the United States, including the challenges people face and common misconceptions about homelessness.
• Raising Awareness About Food Insecurity: Help spread awareness about the growing food insecurity crisis and the families struggling to put food on the table.
• Sharing Educational Content: Post videos highlighting how homelessness and food insecurity affect people of all races, genders, ages, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Organizing Social Media Content: Follow the instructions provided for each video, use the appropriate captions and descriptions, and ensure content is posted to the correct platforms.
• Supporting Our Mission: Help us reach more people, encourage community involvement, and inspire others to support individuals and families in need.

We will provide the videos and content for you to post, along with any necessary instructions. You will not be expected to create all the content yourself. Your primary responsibility will be helping us consistently share our existing content across our social media platforms.
