Volunteer Drivers and Loaders needed to pick up food for farm worker families!

Nancy's Project needs volunteers who can drive our van to help load donated groceries at stores in Pacific Grove and Carmel. We are in search of fill-in drivers on Mon-Tues-Wed-Fri, on an as needed basis. Drivers leave our storage unit at about 7:15 am on Mon, Wed and Fri, 8:45 on Tues. At the grocery stores, volunteers will meet you there to help load the donated food on to the van, after which the driver returns the van to the storage unit, typically by 10:30 am. Volunteers at the loading sites will be working outside with another volunteer while loading, rain or shine.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with loading donated food at our partner grocery stores. This shift would be shorter, being that you would just meet the driver at the site. Carmel location meets at 7:30am. Pacific Grove location meets approximately 8:45-9:00

Both drivers and loaders should be able to lift 25 pounds.
