Attention service-minded individuals looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities!

Community Markets Inc. invites anyone interested in feeding hungry families in our community with healthy WV-grown food and increasing access to locally grown food to come volunteer with us! Since 2021, CMI has provided thousands of pounds of healthy and nutritious groceries from West Virginian farmers to families in need within the Eastern Panhandle of WV and beyond. There’s something for everyone!

Every month, CMI hosts one or two Food Box Giveaways! Anywhere from 100-200 boxes of local, healthy food are given to families in need.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Packing food at the monthly Food Box Giveaways
• Distributing food at the monthly Food Box Giveaways
• And more!

You can volunteer individually or as a group!

Private Group Details:

• Group Size Range: 5 - 50+
• Event can be held at a volunteer group location (e.g. office, park)
• Event can be held at organization location(s)
• No donation needed
