Volunteer Role: Google Ads Manager

Position Overview
The Google Ads Manager oversees Leveling the Fields’ Google Ad Grant account to maximize visibility, grow our programs, increase volunteer engagement, and support fundraising efforts. This person will manage ad campaigns that attract new schools, recruit volunteers, increase one-time donations, and grow our monthly donor program, the Grounds Crew.
Key Responsibilities
Google Grant Management
- Manage and optimize the Google Ad Grant account to ensure compliance and full utilization of the $10,000 monthly credit.
- Maintain healthy account structure and performance metrics to avoid being flagged or suspended.
- Monitor click-through rates, conversions, quality score, and landing page performance.
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Create and refine ad campaigns supporting LTF goals:
- School recruitment
- Volunteer sign-ups
- One-time donations
- Grounds Crew monthly donor growth
- Conduct keyword research and develop strong ad copy aligned with campaigns.
- Test variations of ads to increase performance (A/B testing, landing page suggestions).
Reporting & Collaboration
- Provide simple performance summaries to the Marketing Committee Chair.
- Make recommendations for improving ad performance and expanding reach.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Development Committees to align campaigns with events, programs, and fundraising pushes.
Qualifications
- Experience with Google Ads required; Google Ad Grants experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of keywords, bidding strategies, and ad account best practices.
- Comfort reviewing analytics and making data-based recommendations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
