About Us
SaptaRang is a Vancouver-based non-profit dedicated to promoting the cultural heritage of North East India (the "Eight Sister States") in North America. We serve as a bridge between our unique traditions and the Canadian mainstream, while providing a "home away from home" for the local diaspora. We recently secured a Google Ad Grant and are looking for a specialist to help us amplify our mission.
The Role
We are looking for a Google Ads / Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist to set up and manage our Google Ad Grants account. Your work will directly impact our visibility for our upcoming North East India Festival on May 30th and help us connect with donors, volunteers, and community members across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Account Setup: Configure the Google Ad Grants account following Google’s non-profit compliance guidelines.
- Keyword Research: Identify high-impact keywords related to cultural festivals, North East India, diversity, and community events.
- Campaign Management: Create and optimize search campaigns to drive traffic to www.saptarang.ca.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure the account maintains a 5% CTR and other Google Ad Grant requirements.
- Reporting: Provide monthly insights on impressions, clicks, and conversion tracking.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing Google Ads (Search campaigns).
- Experience with Google Ad Grants for non-profits is a huge plus.
- Strong understanding of SEO/SEM best practices.
- Passion for cultural diversity and community building.
