Af.ter.word (noun)- in literature, an additional piece at the end of the work; usually describes how the story came to be and/or how it was developed.

Gentiva Hospice boasts a talented, collaborative team of volunteers ready to help patients/families continue their story.

The services the "afterword" Team provide are always complimentary. Examples of how the team can help patients/families author MORE of their story include:

• Creating a special, lasting gift for family (e.g., a framed photo, artwork, etc.)
• Documenting memories in booklet form
• Digitizing some photos and creating an album for family
• Assisting family members in writing memorial tributes (i.e., obituary and eulogies)
• And more.
