Special Olympics is so excited for the HEB Tournament of Champions 41st year! The HEB Tournament of Champions began in 1986 with proceeds raised going directly to Special Olympics Texas in the San Antonio area. Since then, this event has raised over $160 million dollars benefiting Special Olympics Texas and other nonprofit organizations that focus on children and educational initiatives throughout the State of Texas.
As a volunteer, you will get to interact with our athletes through a Unified Day, which allows athletes with and without intellectual disabilities to come together to compete, connect, and celebrate through sports.

Volunteers will assist with guiding teams, explaining activities, and creating a fun, encouraging environment. No experience needed—training provided on site.
