Position Overview: As a National director, you will be in charge of keeping track of all chapters of JSAO within your country and ensuring they are active and continuing services. You will be leading all chapter presidents as well as state/province directors.
Role/Responsibilities: As National Director of your country, you will need to be in constant contact with all state/province directors. You will be overseeing all chapter promotion, engagement, and developmental aspects.
Qualifications: For this position, you must have a keen eye for details and constant vigilance to ensure proper communication with chapter leaders within your country. While prior experience in leadership is not necessary, it is highly recommended. You should be comfortable giving constructive criticism and feedback. Moreover, you should be able to cultivate new aims and goals based on current practices in chapter organizations. Finally, you will need to be thorough and dedicated on analysis/report comprehension (the little details are essential!).
Time Commitment: As National Director, you will need to dedicate 2-3 hours per week to fulfill communication and oversight responsibilities. You will also need to communicate with our senior staff on your country’s progress.
