Playgroup Helper — Play and Grow (Newton County)

Play and Grow is a free drop-in playgroup for local families with kids ages 0-5. We're looking for volunteers to help sessions run smoothly by:

• Setting up and staffing a light snack table
• Helping kids with simple take-home crafts
• Leading or assisting with games and playtime activities
• General setup/breakdown and welcoming families as they arrive

No experience needed — just a friendly attitude and comfort being around young kids and their parents/caregivers.

Time commitment: About 2 hours per session. Volunteers can sign up for one or both dates.

Requirements: Georgia mandated reporter training is required for this role (no background check needed at this time).

Who this is good for: Anyone who enjoys working with kids and families — parents, retirees, students, community members. Great for a one-time or recurring volunteer opportunity.
