Volunteer at the Local Assisted Living Facility

We are looking for volunteers who can help their local assisted living facility (ALF). The ALF activity director organizes fun games, classes, and parties for the residents. Volunteers will work with the activity director to facilitate the events and engage the residents.

These activities include:

• • Offering Friendship and Companionship to Residents
  • Call B-I-N-G-O or Assist Players
  • Participating in Monthly Birthday and Holiday Parties
  • Lead a Bible Study
  • Play Cards & Dominos
  • Teach Chair Exercises
  • Paint Fingernails and Do Hair
  • Sing or Play an Instrument
  • Lead Karaoke or Cooking and Gardening Classes
  • Visit Residents and Staff with Your Certified Therapy Dog

Heart to Heart Hospice provides comprehensive training and will identify the most suitable service area for you. We understand the importance of your time, so we work around your schedule; you can volunteer as little or as much as you want, giving you the power to make a difference on your terms. When you volunteer, you are ensuring that residents have quality of life.
