Position Overview: We're looking for a Platform Security Manager / Information Security Lead, a vital role responsible for developing and enforcing our platform's security policies and procedures. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in information security who is ready to take the lead on security strategy and implementation without the intimidation of a C-suite title. You'll be our go-to expert for all things related to cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive information security program that encompasses all aspects of platform security.
• Lead risk assessment and management processes to identify vulnerabilities, enforce security policies, and recommend enhancements.
• Coordinate with IT and development teams to implement and maintain security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and network security.
• Manage compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) affecting the platform.
• Conduct security audits and penetration testing to proactively identify and address security threats.
• Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for staff.
• Serve as the primary contact for security incidents, leading the response and remediation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in information security or a related field, with a track record of enhancing digital platform security.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT systems and architecture, and data privacy laws.
• Experience with security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
