Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative, mission-aligned Volunteer Brand & Social Media Manager to lead our digital storytelling and online presence.

This is perfect for someone who loves content creation, believes in the power of social media for good, and wants to help a nonprofit grow its visibility, community, and impact.

You’ll help shape how the world sees Powered By Love.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Storytelling

• Create and post engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms
• Turn our programs, outreach days, and impact moments into compelling stories, reels, and posts
• Help capture and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)

Social Media Management

• Plan and maintain a consistent posting schedule
• Stay up to date with social media trends and adapt them for a nonprofit voice
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and help grow our online community

Brand Building

• Help shape a clear, warm, and recognizable brand voice that reflects dignity, love, and hope
• Ensure visual and messaging consistency across platforms
• Support campaign launches, donation drives, and major initiatives with focused content pushes

On-Ground Support (if local to Scottsdale)

• Occasionally attend outreach events or packing days to capture photos and videos
• Help document real moments of service and impact

Who This Is Great For

Skills & Experience (Preferred, not required)

• Experience managing or growing social media accounts
• Comfortable creating short-form video and being behind or occasionally in front of the camera
• Basic editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or similar tools)
• Strong writing skills and a good feel for tone and storytelling
• Organized, proactive, and able to work independently

Time Commitment

Flexible, but ideally

5–10 hours per week

We care more about consistency than volume.
