Each day of the store has multiple shifts. You will be able to pick a shift that works best for you. The first part of your volunteer shift will be an oreintation to get you ready for the store!

The Back 2 School Store is Back – and We Need You!
From Sunday, August 2 – Wednesday, August 5, NCJW NY will once again transform Council House into a special department store for elementary school kids from underserved communities
Kids will “shop” for a brand-new, free outfit and school supplies with the help of a personal shopper—and that could be you! Volunteers guide students through the store, staff stations, and help make sure every child leaves ready and excited for the school year.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Age 16+
- Able to stand for an hour and go up/down stairs with a heavy bag
