    About Army Pink

    Army Pink is a survivor-led, fiscally sponsored nonprofit initiative dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence move toward safety through emergency transportation and other essential programs. We're seeking an experienced volunteer to join our Grants Team as a Co-Lead, partnering with our current Grants Lead to help build a strong, sustainable funding program.

    This is an opportunity to help shape the organization's long-term funding strategy while making a meaningful impact for survivors.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as Co-Lead of Army Pink's Grants Team alongside our current Grants Lead.
    • Research and identify foundation, corporate, and government grant opportunities aligned with our mission.
    • Write, edit, and review grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting materials.
    • Collaborate with Army Pink leadership to develop compelling funding proposals tailored to specific funders.
    • Help maintain the grants calendar, tracking deadlines, submissions, reporting requirements, and follow-up activities.
    • Assist with developing grant writing processes, templates, and best practices as the organization grows.
    • Work closely with other volunteers to gather program information, budgets, and impact data needed for grant applications.

    Qualifications

    • Grant writing experience is required.
    • Previous experience researching and preparing successful grant proposals for nonprofit organizations.
    • Excellent writing, editing, research, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
    • Passion for supporting survivors and helping build a growing nonprofit initiative.

    Impact

    As a Co-Lead of our Grants Team, your work will directly help secure funding for programs that provide survivors with safe transportation and other critical resources. You'll play an important leadership role in helping Army Pink build a sustainable future and expand its impact.

    Location: Remote (U.S.) or Los Angeles-based

    Time Commitment: Flexible, approximately 5–10 hours per week.
