We are seeking volunteers to help grow and strengthen our community through our new Community Engagement Team. This team helps welcome, connect, and support prospective and current community members across Monumental Impact programs, makerspace services, internships, volunteering, cohorts, entrepreneurship, and competitive robotics.
What You’ll Do
- Follow up with prospective and current community members
- Help welcome and onboard new volunteers, interns, and members
- Support orientations, Open Hours, networking events, and community activities
- Help connect members with projects, cohorts, robotics, entrepreneurship, and makerspace opportunities
- Assist with community communication, engagement, and relationship-building
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications Team, Events Leads, Makerspace Services Team, and Member Program Leads

Background Check Requirement
To help maintain a safe, welcoming, and trusted environment for all members of our community, Monumental Impact requires background checks for all volunteer roles.
As a nonprofit organization, volunteers age 21 and over are asked to cover the cost of their background check. Monumental Impact coordinates the process, provides instructions, and reviews results in accordance with our policies and applicable regulations.
If after your interview, we both want to move forward, then the next step would be a background check. We’ll walk you through the process, answer any questions, and share next steps before anything is finalized.
